RETAIL ORDERING  & SHIPPPING GUIDELINES

 

 

You can order Primitives Candles with full confidence from Heart's Desire. We have been serving customers since 1994, and we pledge to continue our tradition of quality and customer service

 

ONLINE- You may order 24/7 directly from our website at www.visitheartsdesire.com.

Telephone 814-435-2280 – We are ready to take your order or answer any questions you may have with fast courteous service.  Call anytime Monday through Saturday Eastern Time.  Please have your order as complete as possible when you call, as well as your credit card information.

 

Ordering by Fax – For your convenience, you may fax your order to us 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Our fax number is (814)435-2280.  If you are unsure if we have received your fax, please call before sending it again.

.  Complete our printable order form and call (814)435-2280 for shipping charges to insure accurate shipment. 

 

Pick UP – Orders may be picked up by appointment Monday through Saturday Eastern Time.  We cannot guarantee someone will be available, please make an appointment to insure that we will be available to assist you.  Orders must be confirmed beforehand.  Orders over $100 which are picked up receive a 5% discount.

 

TERMS OF SALE -  We will promptly ship your order handling payment in one of the following manners:

  1.  Credit Cards – Visa, Mastercard, and Discover are accepted.  International accounts must pay by credit card.

 

  2.  Pay in Advance – All checks must be drawn off a U.S. bank and be in U.S. dollars.  Please note that orders prepaid by personal check may be held 10 days for check clearance.  No international checks will be accepted.  All returned checks will be immediately resubmitted for presentation.  There is a $25.00 charge for returned checks.  If legal action becomes necessary, it shall be instituted in Pennsylvania under Pennsylvania law.  6% Pennsylvania sales tax will be charged.

 

PRICING – Prices are subject to change without notice.  We try to honor all prices published online, but in the event of a pricing mistake or a typographical error, please be understanding.  We reserve the right to correct as necessary.

 

 

ORDERS - All of our orders are considered RUSH orders and are shipped ABSOLUTELY as soon as possible.  Please understand that exceptions will occur.  Therefore, please plan ahead on larger orders, and especially during the holiday season. You will be charged when your order is shipped, not before.

 

SHIPPING - Standard shipping is via USPS, UPS or FedEx within the 48 contiguous states unless otherwise specified.  Candles are heavy items to ship - all orders are subject to actual shipping charges only, and are F.O.B. Galeton, PA.  Please provide your name, a street or route address (we cannot accept a P.O. box number for UPS shipments), zip code and telephone number with area code, and any special instructions required for accurate delivery.  For expedited, or any other non-standard shipping, or to locations outside of the continental United States , additional charges may apply.  FedEx and UPS include up to $100 of insurance included in the shipping charge.  Additional shipping insurance is available, contact us if you would like to insure your order.  On undeliverable and refused packages, a 15% restocking fee and  the charges to ship the package and the charges to return to Heart's Desire will be charged to you.

 

 

QUALITY - We strive to offer our customers the highest quality items at exceptional values.  We make every attempt to ensure our handcrafted coloring, scent and packaging are consistent.  Because our items are hand made, occasionally slight variations or minor imperfections should be expected.  We reserve the right to improve and update designs at any time, with no obligation to previously sold product.

 

 

RETURNS - All returns must be made within 10 business days of receipt of goods.  Sorry, we can only issue merchandise replacements or credit to future orders.  No cash refunds.  No refunds on shipping and handling.  Items must be in new, resellable condition with credit given after inspection.  Returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee and the customer is responsible for the return freight.  Please call in advance before returning merchandise.

 

 

BREAKAGE - We pack your orders with great care. However, please inspect your order as soon as you receive it and report any damages immediately to the freight company.  Save the carton and damaged items for inspection.  Please notify us within 5 days of receiving a product that is damaged.  After 15 days, no claims will be accepted.
